Chocolate Quinoa with Blueberries Bowls
Blueberries and chocolate are a pairing made in heaven. Quinoa aids in the blending of the two in these decadent-tasting breakfast bowls, which can also be served cold as a dessert. Drain the quinoa in a fine-mesh strainer after cooking to avoid watery results.
Serving Size: 4 Bowls
Prep Time: 20 Mins
Cook Time: 25 Mins

Ingredients:
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2 to 3 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
1 Cup Blueberries Fresh
2 Cups Plant-Based Milk
1 1/2 Cups Quinoa, Rinsed and Drained
4 Tbsp Almonds Sliced
Direction:
1- Quinoa should be cooked according to the package guidelines. While still hot, drain and stir in chocolate powder and maple syrup. Allow 5 minutes for the flavours to meld.
2- For breakfast, serve warm with milk and sliced pears. If served as a dessert, whisk the milk into the heated quinoa and cool before adding the blueberries and almonds right before serving.
