Overnight Multigrain Cereal with Banana and Raspberry

Ingredients:

2/3 Cup Steel-cut oats

1/4 Cup Pearled barley

2 1/2 Cups Water

1 Banana, sliced

1/2 Cup Raspberry



Directions:


Place the oats, grain and water in a two quart microwave-safe bowl. Blend well, cover and refrigerate for the time being.


Uncover bowl, place in microwave and cook at high power for 4 minutes. Mix and cook for four minutes longer. Partition into 2 dishes and top with cut banana. This is a quick method for cooking steel-cut oats, bringing about a heavenly, chewy breakfast combo.
